Scars of Honor Races
All eight playable Scars of Honor races, grouped by the two alliances. Pick a race to see its lore, the classes it can train, its appearance — and a dated record of what has changed about it. Six of the eight were playable in the 30 April – 11 May 2026 technical alpha; Sun Elf and Orc were not.
The Sacred Order
HumanIn the alpha"Children of the Order" — founders of the Sacred Order from the ashes of the Great Human Empire, and the only Order race that can train as a Mage.
Sun Elf"One with Nature" — Infernal Demons who rebelled, struck a pact with the Sun and Moon gods, and were remade. Cannot train as a Mage. Not playable in the 2026 alpha.
DwarfIn the alpha"Light in the Depths" — driven from Mynorath by the Orcs and centuries in servitude to humankind. The Sacred Order's only Necromancer race.
BearanIn the alpha"Unstoppable Force of Nature" — given sentience by a mystical Bear on a northern ice island. The largest silhouette in the game at roughly two metres.
The Domination
Orc"Pride and Might" — the ultimate predators of Aragon, who took Mynorath from the Dwarves. Domination's only Paladin and Priest race. Not playable in the 2026 alpha.
Infernal DemonIn the alpha"The Neverending Hunger" — immortal only while human souls last, and the forgers of the Soul Ring that emptied a continent. The most-played race of the last public test.
UndeadIn the alpha"Different State of Being" — humans who forsook Life to keep their Souls, ruling from Veltharas. Porcelain prosthetics, masks, and soul wisps for eyes.
GrontharIn the alpha"Taking Life by the Tusks" — freed from human servitude at the Night of the Crimson Leaves, and the most visibly reworked race in the game.
