Next public test scope and schedule

The next public test is outlined as the largest Scars of Honor test so far, with internal milestones preceding any wider release.

Development milestones before testing

The stated plan is to complete the major core systems by around mid-October. These systems are described as the core functionality needed to support the game's broader feature set, including dungeon-related systems.

After that point, the systems are expected to enter an internal testing phase handled by the studio's QA teams. This internal pass is described as lasting at least about one month.

If that process proceeds as intended, the team expects to have a relatively stable client around mid-November. A public date is not fixed in the recording, because marketing preparation is also treated as necessary before opening the test more broadly.

Public test window

The next public test is placed broadly between mid-November and December (inferred from context from the examples and milestone sequence). No exact date is committed.

Marketing is described as the final department that must confirm readiness, including communication of:

  • when the test begins
  • what content is included
  • how many players can be invited

Test focus

The upcoming test is described as heavily focused on PvE, while also being much broader than previous tests. The stream mentions that players are expected to encounter many systems, including PvE, PvP, and open-world elements.

Dungeons are said to be in development, with more detailed discussion reserved for a separate company stream. The next public test is nevertheless framed as a major step up in scope compared with earlier public builds.

Mobile testing status

Although Scars of Honor is planned as a cross-platform game with a mobile client, public testing remains focused on PC for the time being. The stream says the immediate priority is to make the core game fun, stable, and optimized before expanding public testing to mobile.

Internal mobile tests are said to have already taken place and to be progressing well, but the next public test is not expected to include the mobile client.
