Technical playtest scope and community support

A public playtest is described as planned for the near future, with the exact date to be finalized by the project leads. The test is presented as free for all participants.

The stated purpose of the playtest is technical validation rather than a full preview of the finished MMORPG. It is intended to help measure client and server stability, including crash rates, while also gathering feedback on implemented systems.

Technical playtest goals

The playtest is framed as a technical test of the current build rather than a showcase of complete content. Participants are expected to interact with the available systems and provide feedback on how those systems feel in practice.

Examples mentioned include evaluating whether a dungeon feels enjoyable, whether its size is appropriate, and whether additional systems should be connected to it. The test is therefore positioned as both a stress test and an early usability review.

Not a final-product presentation

The build shown for testing is explicitly not described as the final game. Missing content, incomplete features, and work-in-progress presentation are treated as expected conditions for the event.

Community growth and moderation

The project is described as growing quickly, with an active need for additional Discord moderators. Community participation is presented as an important part of building a new MMORPG, alongside the game itself.

A community-made build-planning website for Scars of Honor's talent system is also highlighted as an example of player contribution. The site is presented as demonstrating the breadth of the game's talent customization.
