First Watch is described as free to join and not tied to a purchase, VIP status, or guaranteed beta access. The initiative is framed as a trust-based program in which members receive updates through a private Discord channel and may occasionally join live discussions with the development team.

Planned rewards for dedicated participants include an exclusive Discord badge, a special community role, an in-game title, a possible credit listing, and an exclusive cosmetic item. Members are also asked not to share confidential or unpublished content, and the development team retains final decision-making authority.
