Player selection and roles

First Watch is intended to represent a wide range of MMORPG play styles. The recruitment targets PvP fighters, PvE adventurers, explorers, crafters, traders, theorycrafters, role-players, social players, and solo-oriented players who prefer to explore or complete quests alone.

The initiative also includes content creators, provided they follow the rules. Participants are expected to be constructive, reliable, and authentic rather than trying to fit a narrow profile. The studio emphasizes that different perspectives are needed to test the game properly.
