Project origins and early branding
Scars of Honor began as a much smaller personal project before growing into Beast Burst Entertainment. The early branding, website, and first commissioned art pieces are described as products of that pre-studio phase.
From personal project to studio
The project is said to have started with the creator working alone, with his wife as the main person involved in discussing ideas. At that stage there was no plan to build a full game studio around it.
Only later did the work expand into Beast Burst Entertainment, at which point additional commissioned art and broader production began.
First website and early commissioned art
After settling on the name, the domain was purchased immediately. The early Scars of Honor website and its faction banners are described as having been created by an artist hired before the studio formally existed.
The first wallpaper is also attributed to this early phase. Later wallpapers are distinguished from these first pieces as studio-era commissions.
Creative role of the founder's wife
The founder's wife is described as having played a notable role in early naming and worldbuilding decisions. She is credited with naming Aragon and is portrayed as an active MMORPG player who contributed to the project's formative ideas.
This places part of the game's early identity in a collaborative pre-studio creative process rather than in a later formal branding exercise.
