Infernal Seal and the binding of demon entities
The activation of the Soul Ring requires a specific infernal mechanism called an Infernal Seal. The tale describes this process as a grave sacrifice in which two infernal beings are split and fused so that the artifact can function.
How the Soul Ring operates
According to the narration, the Soul Ring needs two infernal demon entities to work in tandem. One entity must be placed inside the ring in order to leech souls into the stone, while another must remain outside to control the process. This dual arrangement is presented as the only way to open the artifact's full function.
The Infernal Seal
The Infernal Seal is described as a ritual or binding process that splits two demons in half and fuses the parts together. One half remains outside and the other half inside, creating a linked existence. The result is expressed as two hearts beating as one, two minds thinking as one, and two infernal flames burning far stronger together than apart.
Sacrifice and ambition
The procedure is explicitly treated as a major sacrifice, and not all infernal voices appear to accept it lightly. Even so, the ritual is justified by the promise of awakening the Soul Ring and elevating the Infernal Demons to a state described as equal to the gods themselves. The tale therefore connects the Soul Ring not only to survival, but also to divine ambition and transformation of infernal power.
