Testing schedule, platforms, servers, and release support
The discussion includes several operational details about testing, platform support, server regions, localization, and the cadence of future updates. These points describe the intended service structure around Scars of Honor rather than its moment-to-moment gameplay.
Next test window
A larger test is said to be planned for the end of the year, though no exact date is given. The date is described as subject to change and controlled in part by marketing considerations. It is also characterized as the biggest test so far.
For character availability in that test, the current target is to include the new character models for at least four races. For the full release, the plan is for all races to be available.
Mounts are expected to be present in the next test as a system. They were already integrated in an earlier test, although they were not enabled for practical use in the battleground context at that time.
Platform targets
Scars of Honor is planned for Windows, Mac, and Linux on PC, and for iOS and Android on mobile. These are presented as the official starting platforms.
The stated aim is feature parity rather than a heavily restricted mobile companion version. Mobile players are intended to be able to do the same kinds of activities as PC players, with final usage patterns to be understood after release.
Server regions and capacity
The initial server regions named are Europe, North America, and Asia. Individual servers, referred to as realms, are expected to support around 10,000 players on average, with the possibility of higher capacity.
Mobile performance targets
The mobile version is described as using assets adapted specifically for mobile, including exported meshes and character models suited to lower-end devices. Internal testing is said to target at least 30 FPS on low-end hardware, preferably around 60 FPS, while high-end devices are expected to run much more smoothly.
Localization
Russian is explicitly identified as one of the main languages planned for localization, based on the size of the Russian MMORPG audience.
Update cadence
A long-term service goal is to deliver major content updates roughly every three to four months. Quarterly-style updates are presented as the intended rhythm for post-launch development.
Housing timing
Housing is discussed only in limited terms because it is not planned for the first version of the game. It is treated as a possible later addition rather than a launch feature.
