Dungeons, world bosses, and invasions
Dungeons remain part of Scars of Honor, but the developers describe them as only one part of a broader PvE structure. They say the game still aims for procedurally generated dungeons that follow strict rules so repeated runs do not feel identical.
Dungeon direction
The studio presents each dungeon as a distinct gameplay mode with its own rules and population. The goal is to keep dungeon runs varied even after many completions.
World bosses and invasions
Open-world bosses are described as a feature that players responded to positively in the alpha technical test. The team says it wants more of these encounters and wants them to matter beyond a simple optional fight.
Invasions are presented as zone-level threats involving ogres, spiders, dragons, ghosts, and similar enemies. If players do not respond in time, the zone may suffer consequences such as being cursed or overrun. The developers say PvE should function as a living threat in the world rather than existing only inside dungeons.
