Dungeon access structure

A dungeon access model is discussed for Scars of Honor that separates easier participation from more committed group play.

Queue-based access for casual play

One proposed approach allows players to enter a dungeon through a user-interface queue. This would let players sign up directly and reach the instance without traveling to its entrance.

The purpose of this version is accessibility. It is presented as a way for more casual players to experience dungeon content with less friction.

Physical travel for higher-tier versions

For harder or more advanced versions of a dungeon, the preferred approach is different. Players would need to travel through the world, locate the dungeon entrance, and enter manually.

This is treated as a better fit for advanced group content because it preserves a stronger sense of place and commitment. The distinction is not framed as anti-casual, but as a way to give higher-end dungeon play a different identity and level of investment.

Tutorial-style introductory dungeon idea

A related suggestion proposes an early dungeon with a shorter, more introductory structure that could help players learn the system and earn basic gear before moving into more demanding dungeons. The idea is viewed positively because it could ease players into group PvE without requiring them to jump immediately into the main progression path.

No final implementation details are given, but the general direction supports layered dungeon access rather than a single rule for all instance content.
