Crypt of the Fallen
The Crypt of the Fallen is presented as the first dungeon in Scars of Honor. It is framed as a dangerous PvE instance that can be entered either solo or with a party.
The dungeon emphasizes replayability through procedural generation. Its rooms and layout change between runs, so prior knowledge of one attempt does not reliably reveal the route or hazards of the next. Each new clear is described as more challenging.
Structure and replayability
Players progress by choosing between rooms that contain different kinds of challenges. The dungeon is procedurally generated, meaning the arrangement of rooms differs every time it is entered, whether alone or in a group.
This design supports repeated runs with changing conditions rather than a fixed memorized path. The presentation states that lessons from a previous run do not necessarily help players navigate or survive the next one.
Encounters and hazards
The Crypt of the Fallen combines several types of dungeon obstacles. Runs may include treasure to loot, puzzles to solve, traps to evade, and hostile creatures to defeat.
The enemy roster shown for the dungeon includes venomous scorpions and creatures called Gor Jaws. These are described as part of a broader set of enemies of different types and sizes found in the crypt.
Final boss
The dungeon culminates in a boss encounter against the Spider Queen. This fight is presented as the ultimate challenge of the instance, following the earlier rooms, traps, puzzles, and enemy encounters.
