Character creation and progression

Character setup in Scars of Honor begins with race and class selection, followed by a progression system centered on "scars" and a large talent tree.

The classes named in the captions are druid, mage, ranger, and paladin (caption says "poweradin," inferred as paladin). As characters level up, they receive scars, which are described as choices that determine play style. This progression is then expanded through a large talent tree intended to support many build variations and character customization.

Race and class selection

Players are described as choosing from several races, including human, dwarf, undead, and infernal demon. After race selection, a class is chosen.

Scars and talent builds

Scars function as a play-style choice within progression. The system is presented as a defining layer of character specialization rather than a purely cosmetic or narrative feature.

A large talent tree accompanies this system. Its purpose is to allow players to shape a character into a more individual build, with the stated goal of making each character feel unique.
