Playable PvE content and progression systems
The playtest opens a substantial set of early-game systems centered on open-world PvE, character progression, and basic professions. It includes one playable region, questing, enemy encounters, a world boss, gathering, crafting, and class progression features.
Region and open-world content
The available area is Andos Hall, described as one of six regions planned for the full game. Within that region, players can explore the open world and complete quests with multiple steps.
The test is also the first opportunity to try the game's PvE with an open-world focus. Dungeons are not the main focus of this build, as additional time is being taken before a larger dedicated dungeon test later.
Boss encounter
One featured encounter is the Lord of Shadows, described as a powerful necromancer giant skeleton. Defeating this boss is presented as a teamwork-heavy challenge with worthwhile rewards.
Gathering, crafting, and character growth
The build introduces early gathering and crafting systems. These appear as initial versions rather than the full profession suite.
Character setup begins with race and class selection. Each class is said to have its own talent system with roughly 180 to 200 nodes to unlock. Players also start with a starter outfit.
Scars are available in the test and can be unlocked by defeating strong enemies.
