Mage and melee class play in PvP

The same session foregrounds two archetypes: a melee build that leans on a charge-style gap closer to stay on targets, and a mage build associated with large spell burst windows.

Melee

Melee identity in this footage is pursuit-heavy front-line pressure: repeated gap closure and short-range trading rather than ranged control.

Mage

After a swap to mage, combat emphasis shifts to high single-hit or combo spike damage (numbers around 500–600 appear in the same session). The role reads as ranged burst rather than sustained melee stickiness.

Contrast

The juxtaposition illustrates different tempos—melee chase and stick versus mage spike damage—within showcase / test conditions, not a complete kit breakdown or final balance pass.
