Druid tank form concept variants
Scars of Honor presents a set of concept proposals for the druid's tank shapeshift form. The designs are framed as official propositions rather than a finalized in-game model, with multiple visual directions explored before selection.
The concepts emphasize the druid's shapeshifting identity and experiment with animal hybrids rather than a single straightforward beast archetype. Several proposals combine traits associated with durability and protection, especially rhino and turtle motifs, while others push toward more unusual silhouettes.
Core visual themes
The tank-form concepts explore a range of protective and heavy-bodied creature ideas. Rhino appears as a recurring base because it is treated as a strong natural fit for a tank role. Turtle-inspired elements are also considered, tied to the idea of protection in nature.
Some variants blend turtle and rhino features into a stylized creature intended for the game's art style. One design is described as having a more rock-engraved appearance, reinforcing a sense of toughness. Another proposal uses a standing posture, which is presented as important for establishing a distinct kind of druid tank form.
A separate concept combines beetle and gorilla traits, shifting the form toward a more animal-driven silhouette while still keeping a heavy, defensive identity. One humanoid-leaning version is noted as having a more alien feel, and its suitability appears less certain.
Rhino-focused alternatives
A later set of images narrows more directly onto rhino-based tank forms. These include:
- a more straightforward rhino interpretation
- a rhino form with added natural growth or ornamentation
- a variant with more weapon-like arm features
- a larger brute-style rhino form
- a rhino concept with stronger stone-engraved elements
The stone-heavy rhino version is discussed as especially suitable for a more advanced or alternate skin rather than necessarily the default introductory form. One explored variant is considered too close to a bear in silhouette.
Stylization and role identity
The concepts suggest that the druid tank form is not limited to a traditional bear analogue. Instead, the class's shapeshifting theme allows for broader creature interpretation, including hybrid species and more stylized fantasy anatomy.
The visual direction aims to communicate tanking through mass, armor-like surfaces, horns, shell-like protection, and grounded posture. Rock, crystal, and nature growth are used as decorative cues to distinguish different sub-ideas within the same role.
Relationship to other druid forms
Alongside the tank concepts, a brief additional sneak peek shows a caster-form proposition. This indicates that the druid's shapeshift or class-form visual development includes multiple role-specific appearances rather than only a single beast form.
The caster preview is presented as a proposition rather than a confirmed final design.
