UI and performance updates shown with the mage showcase

Alongside the mage demonstration, the recording briefly presents several interface and presentation updates.

Login and character screens

A new login screen is shown as the first screen players will see when starting the game. The authentication panel is also updated.

The character selection and creation scene is presented as a new, revamped environment replacing an older version. The developers ask for feedback on the new presentation, while also noting that character customization options are not final and will be expanded later.

Tutorial and onboarding

A new tutorial sequence is shown briefly. It is intended to help players understand the basics when they first enter the game, though the host skips through it during the demonstration.

Performance and streaming improvements

The team states that one of the largest recent technical improvements is a change to the server streaming methodology. According to the recording, this improves networking, server CPU usage, server memory usage, client CPU usage, client memory usage, and frame rate.

The host notes that the demonstration is being run directly from Unity rather than from a packaged build, and says performance is better in an actual build.

Combat visuals still under revision

While praising the cosmic spell effects and the new barrier visualization, the developers also acknowledge that combat animation and the way character motion translates into combat still need improvement. Several bugs are visible or mentioned during the showcase, including missing or lingering visual effects, incorrect cooldown behavior, and occasional position-update issues.

The overall presentation is therefore framed as a work in progress: visually stronger than earlier versions in some areas, but still unfinished in animation polish and technical consistency.
